The Kent Island Running Group established a scholarship fund in 2023. The scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school student who attends Queen Anne’s County High School or Kent Island High School.
2024 will be our second year awarding this scholarship, and the amount is $500 for four Queen Anne's County public school students. Though it is not necessary to run on your school's track or cross country team, applicants must participate in a team that involves running, or participate in running events in the community.
