The Kent Island Running Group is proud to announce the Historic Stevensville Metric Half Marathon is part of the Maryland Grand Prix series.  This is a 13.1 kilometer run, which equals 8.15 miles.  This course takes the runners through historic Stevensville and  travels along the scenic Cross Island Trail.  The start and finish will be at Bark Barbecue Cafe on Log Canoe Circle.  Upon finishing the race, all runners will get to partake food from Bark Barbecue Cafe along with beer (age 21 and up).  In addition to the food and drink, runners will receive a finisher's medal, a long-sleeved tri-blend shirt, and an after party with music from DJ Tom!.

So, whether you want to run for fun, set a PR on the course, or run in the Grand Prix series, join us on Sunday, Sept. 24, for a fast, flat run on Kent Island!
